Welcome to Awake & Alive
For the past five years, Inspire to Change has been my labor of love—a space where I explored transformation, evaluation, and creative inquiry. But seasons shift, and so must I.
This is a moment of transition. Political and financial unrest in this country has shaken my sense of what is needed, of how I want to show up, and what I am called to create in this next chapter. So I am stepping forward into something new, something alive with possibility.
Welcome to Awake & Alive—a space for reflection, inquiry, and radical imagination.
What I’ll Be Exploring
I’m starting with a focus on these ten ideas—interdependent themes that I want to explore, understand, and embody more fully:
Changemakers and the critical roles we play in social transformation.
Transformative social change, rooted in diverse ways of knowing and a commitment to the earth.
Spiritual awakening and presence—learning to show up fully in the world.
Individual, collective, and divine consciousness, and how we navigate the spaces between them.
Trauma, wholeness, and healing, as personal and collective work.
Authenticity and purpose, and what it means to align with our true path.
Being, becoming, and belonging, and how we hold space for growth.
Honoring our ancestors—remembering the wisdom, gifts, and hopes that came before us.
Creativity, flow, and radical imagination, as tools for liberation.
Nature as teacher, guiding us through its rhythms, metaphors, and lessons.
These are not separate topics—they are interconnected, shaping and informing one another. My hope is that, through writing, reflection, and dialogue, I can deepen my understanding of these ideas and what it truly means to be awake and alive in this world.
What You Can Expect
I’ll be sharing essays, reflections, and resources that help us navigate the complexity of this moment with clarity and courage. Some posts will be deeply personal. Others will stretch into the realm of ideas, inquiry, and transformation.
I don’t expect my focus to stay static. If anything, Awake & Alive will be a space of becoming—a living record of my unfolding, learning, and what it means to be present in a world that is always changing.
If you’re here, I imagine you are also searching for meaning, clarity, and ways to engage with the world that feel both honest and expansive. I’m glad you’re here. Let’s explore what it means to be awake and alive—together.
If this resonates, I’d love to hear from you! What questions are you sitting with right now? Drop a comment or send me a message—I want this to be a conversation, not just a broadcast.
With curiosity and gratitude,
Nora
